GeoThermal Projects
Most of our geothermal projects are schools, commercial buildings, and state-owned buildings but we work on residences as well. Our scope of work involves drilling vertical boreholes, inserting u-bend (loop) pipe, and grouting them in place. Excavation and lateral manifold installation comes next. This is where the loop pipe is connected to a series of horizontal manifolds designed to distribute circulating fluid. Flushing with properly sized pumps is essential for removing air and any debris that is trapped in the pipe. Finally, we pressure test the system to ensure pipe integrity and durability. This leaves a clean, guaranteed ground loop heat exchanger for the mechanical contractors to utilize with the heat pump units.
